Boston University Center for Digital

Imaging Arts

Lead Instructor

The Boston University Center for Digital Imaging Arts at Boston University focuses on career-oriented education and training in the rapidly emerging digital arts fields of digital filmmaking, graphic and web design, photography, 3D animation, audio production, and web development.

As lead instructor, my adaptable approach to teaching meant that students learnt the fundamentals of graphic, web design, typography, and color theory: photography and art history within a classroom environment conducive to learning. With a diverse student body, differentiated instruction, course materials, assigned courses, and curriculum development were structured for progress and accessibility: engaging assignments, course evaluations fostered a collaborative and professional platform with real-world applications

Additional aspects of my teaching philosophy and enthusiasm are consistently evolving, communicated in the syllabus and classroom, by encouraging students, and providing them with the tools, such as online learning, to forge a successful career path in their desired creative discipline

Followed all University policies and guidelines, maintained records of attendance, assessments, and grades. Proactively met with colleagues and peers to discuss student course progress and other administrative requirements. Attended all meetings, ceremonies, and official functions

Mentored students fostered personal growth and self-confidence. They expanded, advanced, and improved their portfolio preparation as part of the curriculum, providing students with valuable insights into a successful interview process
